Students, staff and faculty are engaged in a collective process to green Maastricht University. In several projects the community tries to decrease energy usage, promote ecological lifestyles and raise awareness about the global sustainability challenges humanity faces in the 21st century. Under ‘Projects’ you receive an overview about ongoing projects the Green Office and its partners are involved in. A main pillar of most of these projects are enthusiastic and committed volunteers. The Green Office will also assist you with the realization of your own project ideas, related to sustainability at Maastricht University. Even if you don’t have the time and energy to get directly involved in sustainability projects, your choices and behaviors as a student and consumer are indirectly related to the projects and efforts of those trying to green this university.
