Catering Policy

To make UM catering more sustainable, the Green Office continually works with Facility Services and the respective service providers. The GO aims to implement flexible solutions in order to bring more organic food, more sustainable packaging and better waste management to UM. So far, multiple projects are up and running. Accomplished things are the promotion of healthy meals, a discount at the bakery cafes if you bring your own cup, and no more plastic packaging for the sandwiches at the mensas. However, there is always room for improvement! Are you passionate about making the uni more sustainable in terms of catering and operations? Do you have tons of ideas on how to make catering produce less waste? Then we want you!
