Hey Paul, thank you for your feedback. We value feedback a lot and are always willing to improve our projects accordingly. The sustainable vending machine at UCM sells “Earth Water” in Bio PET bottles. These bottles are corn based as well as 100% biodegradable and, thus, differ to the conventional water bottles sold in regular vending machines. Furthermore 100% of the net profits gained by selling Earth Water will be donated to the United Nations World Food Programme. As many students demand bottled-water we found this the best solution to offer a more sustainable alternative to the regular vending machine.
